ABOUT US

Why choose Epilepsy America

We focus solely on diagnosis and treatments of seizures and epilepsy. Most neurology practitioners treat a variety of neurological disorders (e.g., multiple sclerosis, stroke, dementias, etc.) but at Epilepsy America, our neurologists have completed training in neurophysiology (epilepsy and seizures), are board certified in epilepsy, and are single-mindedly focused as clinicians and researchers on diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy and other seizure disorders.

Unlike many academic centers where patients often interact primarily with doctors in training who are under supervision, at Epilepsy America, all doctors who treat patients are full-fledged doctors with specialization in epilepsy and seizure disorders.

FACILITIES AND LOCATIONS

Our Epilepsy Centers

Epilepsy America has several locations in the United States where comprehensive epilepsy programs and outpatient offices are available to treat patients of all ages who have epilepsy and/or seizures. Our state-of-the-art programs are staffed by board certified adult and pediatric epileptologists who are trained in innovative diagnostic technologies and advanced epilepsy and seizure treatments

As part of our Wellness Program, NEREG and MAESC hosts an on-line epilepsy and seizure-themed Book Club every 4 months! Everyone in the group reads the book on their own, then “meets” online to talk about it: impressions, opinions, critiques. Books are selected based on their relevance to epilepsy, such as books that have a fictional or non-fictional character with epilepsy or that is written by a person living with epilepsy.

Let’s use all 30 days of November to shine a light on epilepsy and seizures and to educate all who will listen.
